about

In 1981, Danny and The Deluxe Blues Band recorded LP two of eight on The Rolling Stones mobile at Shepperton Film Studios. Final mixing was performed at Glyn Johns’ home vintage tube based studio with producer Ian “Stew” Stewart and Danny at the console while a grumpy Glyn Johns acted as tape operator and tea boy.
Since the Shepperton movie complex also served as one of The Rolling Stones headquarters, Ian Stewart made some of Keith Richard’s guitars available for Danny’s overdubs on this LP.
