about

In 1987, Danny and The Deluxe Blues Band recorded LP 4 of 8, this one with another high profile producer, namely Mike Vernon. This album features an expanded line up with Dick Heckstall-Smith on multiple saxophones and Micky Waller back again on drums. Mike Vernon, known for his impeccable supervision on albums such as John Mayall’s “Beano” Bluesbreakers LP featuring Eric Clapton from 1966 and early Fleetwood Mac, produced not only this LP, but 2 more albums by The Deluxe Blues Band. (Please see DA Legacy Vol 19 and an upcoming album from the same era soon to be released).
